Béla Hradil (1885-1968) was a painter and conservator of Fine Arts. Born in Miskolc, Hungary.
Studied art in Budapest before traveling to France and Milano, studied conservation in Dresden, Germany and moved to Sweden from 1924.
He served as a reserve officer in the First World War, where he was wounded and given a lighter service as a photographer.
The war pictures he took during the war are now in museums.
